Tony is a Communications expert with 40 years’ experience in local and national media and Public Relations. The Irish Independent’s first Environment Correspondent, he won the inaugural Transport Journalist of the Year award in 1990.
He worked with a leading PR agency before setting up Tony O’Brien Communications. Clients include Government Departments, semi-State agencies (such as EirGrid, Ordnance Survey Ireland and Luas) as well as Wexford and Wicklow County Councils. He provides media advice to Ticketmaster and companies such as Nationwide Controlled Parking Services.
Tony is the author of “Going Green – The Irish Guide to Living a Greener Life”.
